MURAD - Blemish Control... CHECK!

Since shifting to Dubai i have had the most irritated skin ever....imagine the moon and the craters on it-bingo! I know its a lil gross but well i have to be honest about it. I have oily skin and often get the mother-of-all acne's ,so its high maintenance work to keep it looking a certain way. So i started thinking about investing in some GOOD skincare products and the one brand that struck me was MURAD. I come from the school of thought that healthy skin is far better than expensive cosmetics.

So off i went looking for a place to buy the products from and well i was disappointed by the fact that one actually cannot get MURAD  anywhere easily in DUBAI. I may be wrong but that's my research. Until i came across this godsend website called BasharaCare.com. (bonus points for free shipment and samples).

Went ahead and ordered two essential products to tackle my problem and i have to to say the products are pretty darn amazing.

MURAD

The Time-Release Blemish Control is a  Creamy Cleanser which really has made a difference to my skin, its supposed to treat Blemish scars and optimize hydration to restore suppleness and improve skin's appearance. Well i cant say much about the suppleness part but to be honest my skin is really clear and NOT DRY atall. and the Oil-Control power on this thing is pretty good. I would not say out of this world because come on nothing in the world is ever strong enough to stand in front of god's creativity - OUR HORMONES!

The added benefit of this cleanser is the ANTI-AGING quality which i do not really need or was looking for but its good to have in a face cleanser and face cream once you hit your 20's. The 3 ingredients which make this cleanser a good buy are- Salicylic Acid, Retinol and Tea tree, all good for Oily Acne & Blemish prone skin.

Murad Cleanser 200ml & Clarifying Mask 75g

The Clarifying Mask is supposed to draw out impurities, absorbing pore clogging dirt & oil, reduce blemishes and prevent new ones. In my experience there is nothing as clarifying as a clay mask which is exactly what this is. Enriched with Kaolin and Bentonite this Mask is great for Blemished & Acne prone skin. I have had this for 2 weeks now and i LOVE IT! Its greatly reduced my already present Blemishes and i haven't had a break out for a week now, i have never had a product which has effected my skin so much. Highly Recommend.

PRICE TAG - Now these two items were kind of Expensive specially the mask (for 75g..phew!) it was for AED175 and the Cleanser was for AED145. For the price they both are great products and i highly recommend them. But i went around looking for a drug store version of the mask and i was lucky enough to find a cleanser and mask in one, i haven't tried it for that long  but i can safely say its doing exactly the same thing as the other two if not better.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 WASH&MASK 150ml

Its the Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash and Mask (AED 48) its got a lot of the same ingredients as well Glycerin, Kaolin, Bentonite and Salicylic Acid. It does say to use it as a wash and a mask so its pretty handy, travel friendly & works well too. I recommend this for anybody wanting to try out a Clay mask with the benefits of Blemish reduction and Oil control. I do not however expect this product to outshine the Murad products but for the price tag its doing a very good job.
