REVLON 'PARFUMERIE' Nailpolish Collection Review.

A month or so back REVLON launched its 'PARFUMERIE' nailpolish Collection. They are basically 'SCENTED' nailpolishes . I searched high and low and found 3 shades which i liked and ultimately fell in love with. The scented bit is a thing of preference and also getting used to. But the scents are very pleasant and very subtle.

 There are 19 shades out as of now and all are divided into 3 categories : Fruit&Florals , Freshes , Sweets&Spices. As far as i know these are NOT LIMITED EDITION.

The 3 i picked up are all in the family of bright reds-pinks and orange. And i LOVE them!

After wearing them for almost 2 weeks its safe to say in my opinion the staying power is just like any other nailpolish 2-3 days at max without any chip. The lighter shades which i tried at the counter were a bit streaky so it lead me to believe that atleast 3 coats would be required to make them as opaque as the color of the bottle.

• CHINA FLOWER - its a very bright warm reddish-coral color. Looks GREAT on a TAN. This is the most opaque one out of all the three nailpolishes and i was good to go after 1 coat. The scent is also very pleasing - a deep floral-sweet kind.

• AFRICAN TEA ROSE - this is a pretty mid-tone pink color. For all who love rose and tea rose scents this is going to be a treat. Its my personal favorite and i just love the fact that it smells of ROSES!!! The nailpolish is a creme texture but has tiny purple glitter in it as well. Which one doesn't even notice much.

• ORANGE BLOSSOM - this one smells of lovely fresh oranges. This is also a soft creme texture but a little streaky in my opinion. For this to get close to the bottle color i had to go in with 4 coats!! But having said that it is a very pretty bright orange color which again would look amazing on tanned skin.

These nailpolishes are a good experience and trust me the scent stays on for atleast a week with doing regular chores around the house and with the application of an 'industrial strength' TOPCOAT. That's saying something. The formula is nothing amazing but its pretty good.
