Hello lovelies, a quick review for today. I am following up from earlier this week, where i spoke about the NEW Matte Liquid Lipsticks, today i am talking about some amazing NEW lipliners from theBalm Cosmetics- PICKUP LINERS (lipliners and lip contour pencils). I got these a while back and have tested them out, the pencils are def worth a checkout. They are pigmented and fair well in this Dubai weather. Lets get on with the review shall we..

The shades i will be talking about today are - Checking you out (Mid tone deep red) and Fineapple (Mid tone pink nude). These two shades are so beautiful and so wearable, they are excellent as lipliners but also work beautifully when worn on thr own. The lipliners do not bleed or feather and prevent from both of these when worn under other lip products. These lipliners do not have any significant scent to them. 

The other thing i love about these lipliners, is that they twist up and have a built-in sharpener which is perfect! Perfect for travelling and otherwise too. The pencil goes on very smoothly and stays put, dries instantly. Both the pencils have a smooth application and blendibility. Pair up well with other lip products aswell. I have not tried them with a Lip Gloss, as i personally do not wear glosses that often and also i am not a big fan in general. The lighter shade initially was a bit streaky on me but i guess that was just because of the 'top layer' of the product, once i was through that the liner went on really smooth. Fineapple is a basic everyday pinky nude shade which works for almost all skintones. 

The red shade was a dream to apply as it went on smooth and pigmented from the get-go. Did not bleed or feather atall. Checking you out is a nice red, meant for those dinner parties or during the day aswell for people like MOI!! 

As far as i know theBALM has 8 shades in total till now, its def a very BASIC line up but one can always experiment with the shades, mix them up or wear them with other lip products. This product in general is pretty well made and i am extremely happy.
