Hello lovelies...so today after a long time i will be talking about my 'MORNING/DAY SKINCARE' routine, its nothing extensive but all these products are from KIEHL'S so thought i will do a one brand mini review, i have other morning skincare products too, like my exfoliating pads from NIP+FAB, FOREO (mostly during the day but i also switch between this and my Clarisonic), i will get in that as to why i do that in another post. For today though lets conc. on these HERO products and lets get on with the review..

The products i will be talking about today are the Day FACIAL OIL - Daily Reviving Concentrate, FACE CREAM - Rosa Arctica & EYE CREAM - Powerful Wrinkle Reducing eye cream. I have already done a full review on the facial oil here, so i will not be going into the depth with this one, its a good morning facial oil and works extremely well for oily skintype people aswell. Lets talk about the Face cream and the Eye cream in depth. The Rosa Arctica range has another cream formulation for normal/combination skintypes and also an eye cream, the one i have is the lightweight version, best suited for combination-oily skintypes. 

The face cream ROSA ARCTICA is becoming one of my fav creams to use, this one in particular appealed to me because of its 'lightweight' texture, mind you this one is absorbed pretty fast into the skin but it does leave a nice smooth texture behind. It also has a strong herby scent which can put some people off, if they are not used to or like strong scented facial products. This is also similar in texture to the eye cream, almost balmy, so a little goes a long way. Did not clog my pores atall. This cream did not irritate my skin or make it excessively oily. It also wears well under makeup. 

The key ingredients in this are the Rosa Arctica ( known as regeneration flower, which goes into anabiosis when experiencing dry-out period and comes back to life when it gets moisture. On ones skin it works to give a jolt of cellular vitality, stimulating ones collagen and elastin production),Vitamin E (helps neutralizes skin-damaging free radicals & has soothing moisturizing properties and White Birch Extract (sugar derived ingredient which has the ability to restore hydration and nutrients to the dermis and the epidermis layers of the skin. Helps in increasing skins collagen & elasticity levels resulting in restored skin density, volume & thickness). 

This eye-cream is amazing for the day use as its lightweight, feels like a balm almost. Gets absorbed ASAP though. Hardly takes any time, one can def go heavy-handed with this one but my advise for oily skintype people like moi, is to not go heavy-handed, as overtime the oils start working and one does accumulate a noticeable amount under the eyes, if you are not wearing makeup than its cool but under makeup it can really mess things up. So a light hand & application is advisable from my end. The cream does not have a strong scent, a faint scent which smells typically like a cream, nothing unusual. 

As far the 'wrinkle reducing and improving skin texture' goes, i can safely say that the skin around my eyes has def IMPROVED in texture and my wrinkles have subdued a little, they have not gone, no cream in the world would do that, only botox and 'reversing time' would. After my Boots NO.7 eye cream this one and my night time eye cream really have made a diff, i can def feel the softness. This also did not irritate the skin around my eyes and did not make my eye area 'greasy', which if you have read my posts for a long time, is my biggest pet-peeve! The eye cream is formulated with Copper PCA (helps stabilize collagen & elastic fibers in the skin & maintain the skin moisture)  & Calcium PCA (essential ingredient which helps prevent the degradation of the skins collagen) and Caffeine ( helps reduce puffiness in the skin). This cream has def delivered on all aspects and i highly recommend you guys check this out. 

All in all these 3 products work the best for me as of now, i have other skincare products which i would love to try out soon but for now i am extremely happy with my current skincare routine. I have a lot of kiehl's products in my skincare routine, as a brand it really does work for my skintype.
