NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Review! -- SUBRA

Another exciting Review! NARS launched a new line of DUAL-INTENSITY eyeshadows sometime back and i got one shade from the range was planning on 3 but the other two were out of stock. There are 12 shades in this collection.  Anyhow i stopped myself because of another reason- NARS is launching in Dubai this OCT'14. SUPER-DUPER excited for that.

I picked up SUBRA from the collection. Wanted to go for a wearable shade for starters. SUBRA in my opinion is a blackish-burgundy color with medium pearly-shimmer. Its one of the  warmer shades from the collection. The 'dual intensity' is because these eyeshadow's  can be applied wet or dry. 

This purchase was also enabled by a lovely BBlogger from Dubai Fatma of Angel'sCorner.

The shadow is extremely creamy in texture, almost no fallout and is long-wearing. Subra being in the satin-shimmer finish area is one which can be very good for smoking out an  eyes look or surprisingly wearing on its own. It has good pigmentation and wear in both its form- wet & dry. When dry its almost like a light sheer satin finish but when wet it turn into this rich pigmented sheeny  shade. 

I am very please with this purchase and looking forward to acquiring some more shades from this range, the ones i have my eyes on are- Dione & Himalaya.
