URBAN DECAY 'PERVERSION' MASCARA REVIEW!

Finally i am getting around to reviewing this amazing new mascara the URBAN DECAY 'PERVERSION'.  I have been wearing this for almost 3 weeks now and loving it.  Its a very good mascara and let me tell you the primer does make a difference. I don't know how we existed without it for so long. So without further ado lets get on with the review.. 

So the promotion pack for UD Mascara comes with a Delux sample of the Subversion primer, which to my understanding is now available on its own. So as the name suggest, first the primer goes on and then the mascara. 

UD says 'Perversiong mascara contains HAIRDENSYL, a comples blend of proteins and amino acids-including marine glycogen, known to stimulater lash groth. Honey extract provides deep nourishment, sea idrolized elastine stimulates the hair follicle & marine collagen protects.'

The Mascara formulation is very creamy and a lil wet which personally i prefer because then i feel i have more control with the application. On me it dries out quickly. Doesn't get gloppy and smudgy if let to dry. Its a very creamy formula with a full body texture. Re-applies beautifully without making the lashes looks messy or clumpy. That's one thing i always look for in a mascara. The Mascara wand/brush is very apt- its long and thick with a slightly tapered tip to help with the grip. 

This mascara is one of those which just makes the job of 'applying mascara' easier and non-messy. I personally like it and would def repurchase. 

UD says ' the primer conditions and primes the lashes for the perfect mascara application. Adds weight to the lashes and gives the mascara something to hold on. The brush coats the lashes from root to tip making them thicker, longer & stronger. The primer contains protective penthenol & vitamin E, its also paraben and fragrance free.'

Ok so all the claims in my experience are very true, the primer does grip on to my tiny eyelashes in between and somehow magically separates every lash and gives a fuller effect. Its very light weight, i don't even realize that i am putting something on my lashes. The 'stronger' bit i haven't seen any diff. The brush is amazing, its big and full so it really does coat every lash. I am very happy with the primer. I use it under other mascara's too...and it works the same. Will be purchasing the full size once this one runs out. 

I was so surprised to see the massive diff the primer makes during application and after. With the primer my lashes look fuller, longer and really thick. Whereas just the mascara its still good but its not dramatic enough. 

The finished look i just LOVE IT. Its easy to remove, no flaking and holds the curl. 

PROS:-

Lengthening and thickening formula.

Layers beautifully.

Primer works amazingly.

Both products do not pull at the lashes. 

Re-applies very well. 

Doesn't flake or clump.

Creamy texture.

Both the Mascara Wands/Brushes are very good and serve the purpose to the 't'!

Easy to remove.

Holds the curl.

CONS:-

Have to wait for a few secs for the mascara to dry to avoid smudging.
