So its been long since i wrote a blogpost. But something exciting has happened and i am about to share with you all what that is. So as many of you would have understood by this post, its unlike my other 'beauty related' post, its about a cinema and that too in the UAE. But this is so exciting as this cinema has come up near to where i live, so that means movie nights and late night shopping is bound to happen more often now. Lets get on to the post now..
So +Novo Cinemas is no stranger to the UAE market, it has already establishes itself as a world class house of entertainment, but that fact that a movie theater has opened up close to where i live ( i am currently living just outside central dubai, which should change hopefully soon!!) is something to be celebrated and shared! I got the amazing opportunity to go to the launch party of the same and attend the premiere of the new Will Smith movie 'CONCUSSION' (which was amazing btw). The sight was amazing as a lot of media people were there with a lot of corporates too, along with a handful of Bloggers, i was one of them. The whole area was abuzz with excitement. After the Traditional Chinese welcome and Dragon dance and a whole lotta yummy snacks we were treated to the movie.
This venue houses about 12 screens with 1800 seats and is really very spacious. The fact that it has come up in a area like International City means it will has sole or atleast the majority of the market here, and given a choice most of the residents here will want to go to a cinema which is closer to them as opposed to driving 20-25 mins into the city. This Cinema is very easily accessible from Mirdiff, International City, Silicon Oasis and other adjoining areas.
The convenience of E-tickets is also available at this venue and the fact that the staff is so friendly was the icing on the cake. A little detail which i loved about this venue apart from all the awesome obvious things around me was that the bathrooms were very easily accessible and very spacious and stunning. I dnt know about anybody else but that to me is always a 'revisiting' bonus factor to any venue.
The seats were comfortable and spacious with easy access. The sound was clear and loud. The whole experience was pretty amazing. All the media present were gifted a small goody bag which had a cute lil Apple Ipod and a Fortune Cookie inside! The other media was also presented with free movie tickets. How cool is that...The event was a roaring success and seriously if you live near my area this is something to be excited about.
