Goodmorning lovely beauty obsessed people of the world! Today's post is me talking and raving about the ILLAMASQUA BRONZING POWDER DUO. This landed on my desk a few weeks back and has blown my mind away. I cannot stop using this pan and i have already made a significant dent in one of the darker shades. So without further ado lets get on with the review shall we..
So Illamasqua Sculpting/Bronzing/Blush Kits are not stranger to rave reviews, they are actually one of the best sellers from the brand. The duo houses one light bronzer/highlighter and one dark bronzer/highlighter. Why i am stressing on the 'bronzing/highlighting' is because both the bronzers have enough sheen in them to pass up as dark-highlighters. They are not atall matte. The one i have is in Glint & Ra. This is the darker and more golden of the 2 versions in this range. Illamasqua has this duo concept in bronzing, contouring & highlighting & blush duos. The powder is so so creamy and soft its unreal! (shocked emoji insert)!!
Glint: its a soft orange-yellow gold and is great for both fair-medium skintones as an highlighter. The shade is really pretty and fine so even though it looks stark in the pan it translates much more sheer on the skin. Wore well and was picked up well too! Great change from all the white/pearl-ish highlighters out in the market now. Will look amazing with a tan.
Ra: this one is a more darker brown bronzer/highlighter, can be used for all over bronzing on the face and some of us can even get away with using this as just a cheek-bronzer. The formulation of the powder again is very fine and soft. This one translates as it is in the pan. So a lil goes a long way with this one. Got picked up well and stayed on for long aswell.
This BRONZING POWDER DUO is seriously one of the best bronzing-highlighting duos i have tried in a while and its a must have for us 'face glow' addicts! Illamasuqa does some great makeup, because they are stage/film oriented most of their products have a bang-on pigmentation and are def worth your buck! So i am pretty darn impressed with this palette. Highly recommend.
