Hello lovelies....so as many would know by now and would have already been to the new KIKO MILANO store here in DUBAI, Kiko has arrived in DUBAI!!!! Yay...happy dance. Its one of the brands i always wanted to try and i am loving this new wave of fresh new international brands making their way in the UAE market. Kiko has a solid and legit following for years for their products but more so (in my opinion) for their affordable yet chic products & pricing. Its def a plus point so i went a lil cray when i spotted the NEW store. The first in my 'review lot' are the Velvet Passion lipsticks. Lets get on with the review shall we. 

They have a looot of shades in this range and a lot more lipsticks apart form this range, their limited additions and all. I picked up two nude shades (i am so obsessed with nudes this year) i have not worn a Red lip in such a long time, i kinda miss my red-lip days. Anyways so the two shades i picked up are 302 & 316. 

Both the shades are on the warmer side and flatter olive/golden skintones a lot. I have been wearing them a lot these days apart from my new obsession of Huda Beauty lip contours and liquid lipsticks. Kiko and Huda Beauty have def been my go-to when it comes to lips this past month. These KIKO lipsticks are amazing, i loved sooo many shades but just picked up two to test out, my sister in law also picked up a shade which is on the lines of MAC Flat out Fabulous and its a beauty. 

The lipsticks glide on like butter. Have a 'typical' MAC lipstick scent, nothing outta the ordinary. The lipsticks tip's remind me of the CT lipsticks, this shape somehow makes it easier to apply the lipstick on the upper lip but i find it messy on my bottom lip because of the edges. I always color a lil outside the lines..lol 
The lipstick wear-time is normal and because i picked 2 nude shades i cannot comment on the 'staining' power of these. The formulation is amazing and so comfortable. The 302 does come of a lil streaky on the first application but can be built-up. The packaging is super chic, its frosted matte gold and gunmetal grey with the branding. The caps are all magnetized, this also means the lipsticks cling together. Easy storing!

302/Beige Rose- is a beautiful NUDE shade for almost all skintypes, is one of my fav nudes to wear this month. It super creamy yet matte, like a comfortable matte. The shade is called Beige Rose, its a peachy nude on my though. I still love the color. 

316/Vintage Rose- this is a beautiful dull rosy-peachy nude which is so perfect for everyday wear, not that the other nude is not wearable but this one i think is going to be a mass-fav. It wears well and stays put.
