Hello ladies! So today its all about em'lips! I was fortunate enough to get some of the NEW KAT VON D Studded lipsticks which have gone under a 'reformulation' and some new shades have been added to the existing lineup making it a total of 40 shades to choose from! So lets dig in and get swatching.
The new lipsticks come in 3 finishes - Satin-Matte, Glimmer & Metallic. They are super creamy & so so smooth, i was specially stunned by how comfortable the metallic shade was - almost like butter, the shade is gorg too!! BTW the swatches are the best that i could do, i have crinkly lips so do not mind that! :D
SANCTUARY - Cool Tone Nude Coffee, Satin Matte - looks gorgeous, went on smooth, not streaky atall.
CATHEDRAL - Warm Tone Coco Rose, Satin Matte - one of my fav shades from the nudes, really flattering for medium skintone. Almost peachy nude in layman's term.
CRUCIFIX - Mid Tone Cool Choc, Satin Matte - gorgeous choc brown which will suit a lot of skintones, went on smooth and non streaky.
HAWKWIND - Mid Tone Nude Sienna, Semi Matte - beautiful nude shade, non streaky and super smooth.
ADORA - *one of my most fav* Metallic Golden Red, this i was not expecting to fall in love with but man this is a fab shade and formula, went on as smooth as the satin-mattes & wore so well. Very pigmented aswell.
OUTLAW - True Brick Red, Satin Matte - looks amazing for all skintones i imagine, its a beautiful red, non streaky & buttery. My fav red in this range. The pigmentation is no joke on this one.
A-GO-GO - Neon Orange, Satin Matte - a lil streaky but layers beautifully, beautiful orange shade though which will be perfect for those tropical getaways or just a casual monday :D
CRUSH - Mid Tone Romantic Magenta, Satin Matte - Beautiful on the lips and in the tube, a very nice pink for summer's, non streaky. One of my favs aswell.
MOTHER - Dusty Mauve Pink, Satin Matte - one of my fav shades in the liquid lipsticks also, in the bullet form too its a very beautiful everyday nude pink for me. Non streaky and so pigmented.
L.U.V - Rich Violet, Satin Matte - this one is a bold shade for sure but surprisingly this was my first liquid lipstick purchase from KVD when they launched, i absolutely fell in love with this shade, in the lipstick form also, its beautiful, non streaky and very pigmented.
POE - Navy, Glimmer - another bold shade that i have loved from this range, unlike what one might, think its super creamy, a lil streaky but nothing that a double layer cannot solve! It looks beautiful on the lips and is such a statement lip! Highly recomm. A head-turner for sure.
MUÑECA - Nude Petal, Satin Matte - sadly not for me, very streaky and moves a lot on the lips. I really wanted to love this shade but i just could not. This one is the only bummer for me in all these shades.
MOTORHEAD - Black Cherry, Satin Matte - a beautiful dark cherry red, non streaky (those streaks in the photo are thanks to my lips, Vampira is more streaky as compared), great for night outs. Def on of my top 5.
VAMPIRA - Deep Reddish Burgundy, Satin Matte - a lil streaky like i mentioned above, but nothing that cannot be solved with a few more layers, unlike Muneca this one does not move on my lips, stays put and somewhat stains also, all things which i am personally fine with except the streaky part.

Hope the swatches were helpful, the new formula is def worth a try. With so many shades to choose from i can def bet that everybody will find a fav shade within these. The surprising thing for me was - the shades i was expecting to be streaky and messy turned out just FAB!! Which goes to show you def need to try them in store.
