For a few days now i have been trying out this new (to me!) Korean brand called 'THEFACESHOP'. Its a known fact that Asian/Japanese/Koreans do their skincare and cosmetics very well. I first came across THEFACESHOP a few months back in a beauty box opening by some youtuber and i was really drawn to the packaging. But that was that. Didn't think about it until a few days back when i spotted a familiar looking logo and packaging! Got reminded how badly i wanted to try them and ordered 2 eyeshadows from the lot. Today's review would be about the same.

So coming back to the eyeshadows...here's the deal they are AMAZING! I am all for trying new international makeup and i am glad i do, because sometime one can hit gold. For such a small pot to hold such goodness is just amazing. The two colors i got were Sand Brown/05 & Authentic Green/06.

Can we just take a minute and admire the uber cute packaging! This cute lil' acrylic thing holds 1.6gms of product just as much as an MAC eyeshadow. There are MATTE/SATIN & SHIMMER eyeshadows in the range. I went for the satin and shimmer-satin finish.
I swatched them with and without the primer to actually administer the pigmentation of these eyeshadows. The pigmentation alone is very good in both of them but with a primer the color really pops!
- AUTHENTIC GREEN/06 - its a satin eyeshadow with a hint of dual-chrome gold finish.
- SAND BROWN/05 - this one is a shimmer/satin eyshadow. Why i say its shimmer/satin because i do see visible but very very tiny shimmer particles floating around in this eyeshadow which i dnt mind and it doesn't interfere/effect the application also.
There is no fallout from these which is commendable. The texture is very creamy-smooth. Blends beautifully, glides on like a dream and is very long lasting specially with a primer.
When i ordered these THEFACESHOP were kind enough to send one of their sheet-mask along. Its a great delux size sample and i am sure after using this i will surely want to try the skincare from this brand too.

Overall i really enjoyed using these products and would def recommend them to other beauty junkies like moi! For a brand not that well known outside of asian market this one sure did surprise me. Have you heard of this brand or tried any of their products?!
