GLAMBOX FEB'15 UPDATE & REVIEW!

So its that time again, another beauty filled box is on my desk from the lovely folks at +GlamBox Middle East . This month again it was a mix bag with mostly skincare and one makeup related product. This box too like the last months, in my opinion is not that enticing but it does have some essentials like all the boxes. Lets get on with the review then.

So this months box had 5 products (3 full size products and 1 deluxe sample with a perfume sample tube). There were 2 NIVEA products, which i am not that stoked about but hey that what these 'box services' are about ( some are stars and some are duds).

Nivea Cocoa Butter body lotion and Sun Protect Spray Suncreen:- both the products are summer time essentials, its great to get these in boxes for the super busy lot who d0n't get a chance to go to the mall and buy it for themselves. . Both great products, value for money and worth it. Have tried both and still love them. Retails at AED14/250ml for the Body Butter & AED53/200ml for the Sun Protect & Refresh.

Amargan Hair Treatment Oil:- argan oil is all the rage right now and for right reasons, i personally love to incorporate oils in my skincare & haircare routine. This one comes from AMARGAN and its a treatment oil for the hair. Its a decent size sample (10ml) but i would have loved to get the full size of this product, this sample is good enough for me as i have short & fine hair but what about all the others who have long/thick hair, samples are meant for sampling so i dnt know how one can sample if the product is not enough for even one use *could have replaced it with the nivea lotion, just a thought!!*. Anyhow its a great product, i tried it out and i can see myself buying the full size. Has a lovely scent too. Retails at AED85/30ml & AED179/100ml.

GlamGals Liquid Lipgloss:- kudos to glambox for introducing a new UAE bred cosmetics brand. I wouldn't deny i was skeptical at first but come'on anything for beauty no matter how expensive or cheap the products are. So this brand deals with eyes, lips, cheeks & face as usual but i had never heard of them. So i am please to say the lipstick/lipgloss i got in this box was pretty darn good! Its one of the many 'liquid lipsticks' nothing outstanding but yes i would say for the price and the brand its pretty good. Went on smooth and stayed on the lips very well. Not long wearing though, i had some cake and drank some tea and off it went. So yeah it can be a lazy day wear but nothing more than that. I would compare the texture to bourjois rouge edition velvets but this one after it dries down the texture is very light (almost like paper) & a lil sticky. Bottom line its pretty good but not the best. Retails at AED39.

Escada 'Joyful' Perfume:- amazing scent. Its a floral scent with medium depth. Top notes of mandarin & melon with middle notes of nectarine & peony, ends with sandalwood. But thats just my nose and its capabilities! :D I can def see myself enjoying this one but i wouldn't specially go out of my way to buy it, like you know what mean.
I remember ESCADA was my second high end parfum after CK and i loved it to death but now i prefer more lighter/fresher medium musky scents. And most of escada perfumes don't do it for me anymore. Nonetheless amazing scent. Retails at AED255/75ml.

Below is a picture of me wearing the glamgals liquid lipstick/lipgloss. I have the shade  LIM19, its a bright fuchsia pink.

Hope this review was helpful and interesting. Love your feedback so go on and comment away. Happy weekend lovelies.
