Garnier BB Cream, Ponds BB+ Cream & Isadora BB Cream. |
Now that Spring is upon us its the perfect time to talk about BB Creams. And i have here 3 BB Creams that i have had luck with even though i have an Oily skin with Blemishes. The 3 i am going to talk about today are - Garnier, Ponds and Isadora (available at any local Drugstore/Pharmacy).
Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream (50 aed) - This one came out last year, the one i use is for 'Oily-Combination' skin but garnier also caters to normal skin-tones. The formulation of this one is very comparable to a liquid foundation, covers blemishes very well too. A little really does go a long way with this product. It comes in a Squeeze-Tube. It leaves a very Dewy finish and it definitely requires a setting powder. The only off-putting part about this BB Cream is that it has a pink-undertone which does not suit most skin-tones. Personally for me i mix it up with a little bit of foundation (MAC NC30) and then apply it, it serves the purpose of a BB Cream, semi-matte finish and an almost full coverage.
The staying power is also very good and blends very well. It can be applied with a brush or by hand, the finish is always flawless. It does have a scent which is not off-putting for me personally but some people might not like it.

Ponds BB+ Flawless White BB Cream (30 aed) - This one also came out in last year and this is my most loved one! This to me is more yellow-under-toned then most drugstore BB Creams i have tried in the past. This also comes in a Squeeze-Tube and has a slight scent to it. Less liquid-y in texture than the Garnier one.
It blends out like a charm and it can be blended out with a brush or by hand. It does have a slight white-cast in photo's but nothing too ghostly. It beautifully evens out my skin-tone and not does look cakey atall. It has an SPF of 30PA++. The only thing about ponds is that it does not cater for Dark Tones, it only comes in Light and Beige.

IsaDora All-in-One BB Cream (100 aed) - This one is a little pricey than the others but is very good for Oily-Blemish skin girls. This one is described as an multi-tasking BB Cream- a hybrid between makeup & skincare (base-coverage-protection-hydration). It comes in 4 colors - Light/Medium/Tan/Bronze. Its said to be for All Skin-types. The texture of this BB Cream is also like the Ponds.
Its leaves a very Semi-Matte finish and blends our beautifully. This also carries SPF 12 and is clinically tested. This BB Cream is fragrance-free but for me personally it has a very distinct scent and i do not like it, it does linger on for sometime after application but if set with powder the scent does go away.
