Tarte 'Be MATTEnificent' Palette Review.

TARTE MATTEnificent Palette

So TARTE released a full all MATTE palette sometime ago and i wanted it! I was so drawn in by the packaging that i went around on all the online sites in UAE for this palette luckily i found mine at ALSHOP.COM. So getting down to the product, Tarte is known for their amazing and long lasting 12-hour amazonian clay blushes and they make some amazing eyeshadow's too. They are all eco-friendly, cruelty-free, no parabens/triclosan to name a few reasons why i fell for this brand.

TARTE MATTEnificent ($36) - Is the first ALL MATTE palette from Tarte, which is a big deal because in my opinion nobody does matte shadows better than Urban Decay and MAC. But the idea of trying out makeup which is all good and au naturel was tempting. It comes with 6 Eyeshadows, 2 Eye-liners and 1 new Blush. The standard dual-ended brush is included in the kit. We also get a guide 'how-to' brochure in which 2 eye-looks have been created in collaboration with a very famous youtuber & beauty guru- +hollyannaeree.

The first impression was not great, but we have to keep in mind the product is mostly made of Clay so powdery-ness is bound to be there. If you are like me and use a eye-primer before applying your eye-shadow this would be a dream to work with but if you don't then you will experience a lot of FALLOUT! Its a lovely every-day use palette and all the colors are very buildable.

• Sand out from the Crowd (base) - this is a soft Beige which is the most powdery one of the lot but its an amazing color and very buildable one too. Had good pigmentation. Its a lovely all-over color for the eyes.
• Peach for the Stars (lid) - its a very light taupe-rose color which is excellent for lid highlighting. 
• Two plums Up (outer corner) - this one is a lovely plum color which is perfect for creating a smokey-eye in this palette. Had good pigmentation, very buildable but again was very soft and smooth to the touch which means fallout!
• Pink outside the Box (lid) - this one is a pastel baby pink color which is good for highlighting the lid, again had a bit of fallout but was very workable and buildable.
• Rose to the Occasion (crease) - its a dark taupe-rose color which is an excellent transition shade and had good pigmentation. 
• View from the Taupe (crease) - this one is a standard MATTE taupe color which is again a very good transition shade and had good pigmentation. Its very buildable. Works well as a single shadow also.
• Dream in Chocolate (liner) - its a dark-brown eye-liner, now here is my issue with this palette, both the liners are excellent for blending in, highlighting & defining the eye lashe as a liner but do not expect a dark line across the eye as this would not do it for you. But it has good pigmentation and was again very buildable.
• Don't stand Black (liner) - again an eye-liner this one is black and is very buildable and was very good for adding definition to the eyes. Same rules apply to this as 'dream in chocolate'.
• Elevated (Blush) - this is a new Blush from TARTE for this palette. Its a warm-tone rose color which works wonderfully with this palette. It is great for everyday use. It stayed on me for good 6-7 hours if blended well and adds a nice warmth to the skin. This is made with the same 12-hour Amazonian Clay formula so i did not expect anything less! This color is also very buildable slightly powdery but still very beautiful color, specially for us olive skin girls.

                                            Very good color-payoff/pigmentation.
                                                    Good selection of colors.
                                      Good price for a lot of products in one palette.
                Included a *very workable and soft* brush & guide for using this palette.

                                                             Slightly chalky
                              Eyeliners could be a wee-bit more dense and pigmented.
