ELF Blush Palette 'DARK' Review.

ELF (eyes..lips...face) is a very well known budget brand or atleast it is so in the US, it started off as a '$1' online cosmetics retailer but has since then ventured into studio line & pro makeup line and has free-standing stalls in almost all major establishments. So obviously the price has also been effected.
ELF recently launched a Blush Palette in two colors - Light Palette & Dark Palette. Today i would be reviewing the Dark Palette. Which contains 4 shades. The palette has 4 removable blush-pots. Each Blush pops-out so we can customize the palette as per our liking and snaps back into the slot. The packaging is very durable & sturdy. Which is good because it prevents the lid to open or the blush's to pop-out in the makeup bag.

ELF Blush Palette .
The colors range from red-pinks-orangy brown. The brown Blush i thought could be a bronzer but it turned out a bit too orangy for a bronzer. But all the colors are very well selected and are definitely worth a try.

ELF Blush Palette- DARK.
The Blush's are PIGMENTED as hell....not that one can look like a clown by wearing these but for the price they retail at and the amount one is getting, these blush's are just too good. Very creamy/buttery, good color pay-off. There are no names given to the blush's in the palette so i am just going to describe them as i see them. The blush's are :-
  • #1 / DUSTY ROSE -  a very nice everyday wear blush which i can best describe as a medium toned matte mauve-red.
  • #2 / FUCHSIA - this one is a classic matte-pink. Very nice cool toned color.
  • #3 / DUSTY BRICK RED - this one is the one which seems to have some shimmer particles in it but good news is that it doesn't translate onto the skin much,  a few pieces here-n-there at the max.
  • #4 / BROWNISH-BRICK RED - now this is the one i was wondering if i could use as a bronzer but turned out too orangy-red for a bronzer. This does turn out to be a very nice all matte blush color though.

ELF has done a fabulous job with this palette. I would totally recommend this to anybody wanting to try out ELF products. And especially if you get 4 Blush's for $6!! (woop...woop)
