| Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet |
Last month BOURJOIS launched a new version of their Rough Edition lip products. As anticipated it quickly grew into being the 'IT' beauty product of the month! Bourjois is known to roll out amazing and legit products so this one was sure to be a hit too. The Rouge Edition Lip cream is available in 8 shades and comes in a high-quality plastic packaging. The colors are a good selection ranging from nudes-pinks-reds. I picked up 2 shades from the whole line, though it was a very hard decision as to which one to pick...they all were so perfect!

After testing these out in my opinion the texture of Rouge Edition Velvet is a hybrid between a Lipcream & a Lipstick. Its very smooth as it goes on but it has the pigmentation of a lipstick. Just amazing.

| Rouge Edition Velvet in PING-PONG & HOT PEPPER |
They apply semi-matte but dry up to a full Matte finish with a velvet feel to it. Bourjois claims that this holds for 24 hrs, i dnt know who would want to wear a lip product for 24-hr but nonetheless this does hold up very well and beautifully if i may say so. The ultimate test was a Wedding i attended in Goa, India. Hot day lots and lots of drinking and eating and talking, the verdict - impressive!

The foam applicator it comes with is very soft and the shape complements the functionality of the applicator. Amazing product yet again from Bourjois and i would totally buy more shades from the range.

Velvety-Matte Finish to the 'T'.
Intensely Pigmented.
Moisturizing
Soft Velvet texture.
Light Weight.
24hr hold *my experience is more than 14 hours with 1 re-application.
Reapplies Beautifully *for testing the layering.
Amazing color selection in the range.
Cons:-
Lighter shades are a bit streaky.

This ones for me fr sure!!! My love for velvety creamy matte lipsticks ....looks impressive . Will go n pick one :)

ReplyDeletei m just sacred of the velvet finish.... coz as soon as i put any velvet tone on my lips my complexion starts to look darker. i think i ll go myself and try it out. :)
