SEPHORA SEPT'14 HAUL..

So finally i get around to writing a blogpost after a hectic week.... the week that was ended on a happy note ( which is always the case if a trip to the mothership is involved!). I thought of a teeny-tiny post about the same...so here it goes.

YSL BEAUTY.

I went in looking for the new YSL Fusion Ink foundation thats been doing the rounds, unfortunately it wasn't available. So picked up the much longed for foundation instead YSL Youth Serum Foundation ($60-70 approx). I got the shade B60/Biege. Its not the best match for me but the one i was keen on BD50/Beige Dore (catered towards olive/yellow undertone) wasn't in stock. It was just a bad day for me on the foundation front.

 Anywho this shade works on me, looks a lil flat but nothing i cant work with. Finish is light with a hint of glow ( have already worn it twice) and wears well if powdered. I love it already but will def do a full review in the coming weeks.

 I have been rotating btw two foundations Marc Jacobs 'Genius gel' & YSL 'Youth Serum'. So keep a lookout for the same in the coming weeks. 

SEPHORA.

Picked up 3 SEPHORA Formula X Nailpaints. I already loved the formulation of this range so picked up some more. Picked one in a true fall shade- CENTIGRADE  $10.50(artic blue) & a nude shade - EVOCATIVE $10.50 (rich mocha) . Picked up a foil topcoat too in HYPERACTIVE $12.50 (foil effect top coat). 

With these purchases came the SEPHORA PRO Brushes. I have been eyeing these for a long time, sadly the foundation brush wasnt in stock but i picked up the AIRBRUSH CONCEALER BRUSH #57  ($24) & the PRO BLENDING BRUSH #27 ($20). These brushes are so soft and if reviews are anything to go by then these are just perfect for achieving that airbrushed-seamless blended effect. Can't wait to try these and get the reviews on.

The last and not the least picked up another Sephora Matte LipCream in 04/ENDLESS PURPLE ($13). Its a very unusual color for me but i loved the swatch and it goes well with a natural makeup look. Just bold lips as the center attention. 

So this was a small mini post about the things i picked up this month, this will be followed by full reviews as and when i try these. Cant wait for Oct as a lot of new and exciting launches are taking place in Dubai!
