Sephora FORMULA X Swatches & Review .

This review is all about NAILS! I was never much of a nail-person/junkie but lately my beauty horizon has found another addictive element. This addiction is thanks to SEPHORA FORMULA X & ESSIE (will be reviewing in a follow-up post) . The Formula 'X' range is divided into many categories- 'the system', 'classics', 'neutrals', 'metallics', 'topcoat effects', 'translucents', 'shifters', 'sparkles', 'brilliants'...the list goes on, you get the point.

The colors i picked up are very wearable and might i add very pretty! The whole FORMULA 'X' range had taken the Beauty world by storm when it was launched (few months back). But i took my time for 2 reasons: a) i am always very skeptical about nailpaints, like HOW DIFFERENT CAN they be & b) they weren't available in the UAE!

After waiting a while and reading loads and loads of reviews i gave in and went to the mother-ship. Tried on a few colors but ended up picking these, was looking for 'the system' also but it wasn't in stock *booooo*

Below i have swatched all the shades i picked up, and as far as my experience with these go its been FANTASTIC! I love the finish, the staying power (almost 4-5 days without ANY chip), the variations and the color selection. Its safe to say its an ADDICTION now. ;D

Very beautiful and FALL appropriate dark/navy blue. Creme consistency with an almost opaque color in 1st coat.

Finally found a NUDE shade which flatters my skintone! Evocative is a true neutral light brown with creme consistency. Takes about 2 coats for opaque finish. Its one of my fav shades from the Brown-Color range in Formula X.

Ok so this one was picked up just because of the name. I am a Gemini and love lavendery/pink hues and this was calling out to me. There was no avoiding it. I had to pick it up. I have a CHANEL nailpaint named June and now Gemini in FORMULA X now if  only someone could name a nailpaint '2'...i'll be sorted.

The color is a lovely vibrant blue toned pink with creme consistency and opaque color in 3 coats.

This was a 'curiosity' buy...i hate glitter and textured effect nailpaints as they are a pain to remove...But lately i was seeing a lot of instagram photos and reviews for Foil finish nailpaints...it just got the better of me and i decided to take the plunge.

Now i love it...i dnt know if its just this one or all the foil finishes are like that but this one is so easy to apply and remove like any regular nailpaint. I love the finished result.

If you can't tell already i love the SEPHORA FORMULA X range and would def be purchasing more.

Have you tried any Sephora Nailpaints? What are some of your fav colors?
