Happy Valentines Day lovelies! The day of love and expression of love (any kind....any gender....anywhere). I was fortunate enough to receive this lil box of love of LUSH valentines day goodies. I have been a Lush Lover for sooooo long, so when i got the opportunity to review the new collection i couldn't be more happier.
Lets get on with it.
The products i received were the FLOATING FLOWER bath bomb & THE PRINCE CHARMING shower gel. Both of these are limited edition, around only for Valentines Day (month). Floating Flower Bomb, Prince Charming & Cupids Love soap are bestsellers from this collection. The amazing bit is if you want a fuss free dash in-dash out experience LUSH carries some pre-made gift boxes as well (bath/body & makeup).
PRINCE CHARMING is a thick creamy almost squishy gel textured shower gel which is good for those long showers after a tiring day. Its a rich pink-pomegranate color gel & smells divine. Prince charming is made with the most incredible ingredients : 'Marshmallow root, fair trade vanilla, pomegranate juice & almond oil. It also has hints of sandalwood,geranium & grapefruit essential oils.'
Its a great energizing shower gel which has a deep fruity scent, deep as it does start off with a strong fruity note but turns into an intense almost musky-fruity note, the best part- the scent lingers on. This lathered up really well, little goes a long way.
The almond oil leaves the skin feeling nourished and pampered. Pomegranate juice is rich in Vitamin A,C & E.
Flowers are the theme for this day and what better way to show that you love someone or yourself than a FLOATING FLOWER bath bomb from Lush, its a intense jasmine scented bath bomb, put it in the bath and it floats in beauty! Its a multi-layered bath bomb which makes the bath so beautiful and spa-esque. Once in the water, it starts frizzing away, the intensity of the jasmine scent fades into a soft floral scent which envelops you and makes the whole experience all the more enjoyable & satisfying. It took almost 5-10 mins for it to dissolve completely.
It shares its scent with another LUSH product- FLYING FOX shower gel. FLOATING FLOWER bath bomb has delicious ingredients like all Lush products: 'Jasmine absolute, Cypress oil, Ylang Ylang oil but its the Jasmine that overpowers all'.
Its a heady scent but not too strong enough for the faint hearted. Its a definite must buy from this collection. Having a beautiful oil concoction it does leaves the skin nourished and soft.
This bath bomb is good enough for 2 baths but it will not float on the water if you break it apart and seriously where is the fun in that, its the day you pamper yourself or your loved one so go for it. ;D
