Another SPRING NAILS review and this one is by one of my fav brands ESSIE. This collection just screams bloody goodness. It landed on my desk 2 weeks back but because of my recent trip i was unable to review and upload this post, sorry for that. Better later than never. Lets get on with the review.
There are 6 colors in this collection and i am reviewing the 4 i have on hand. They are the perfect balance of brights and nudes. The colors are all full cream and go on smooth. The wearability of these shades is amazing and all will look amazing on tanned skin or otherwise aswell. The colors i have are:
Blossom Dandy - Its a pretty pastel pale baby blue shade and is cool toned. This is such an amazing pop of color and will suit everyone. It goes on smooth and requires atleast 2-3 coats to get a even streak-free finish. Its one of my fav shades from this collection.
Flowerista - is again a full cream smooth cool toned pink shade which will look amazing on tanned skintones. This pink is so perfect for that 'bang in your face' spring nail statement. This is more opaque than others and only requires 2 full coats for an even finish.
Petal Pushers - is a beautiful pale warm tone grey shade which is very very unique. This one is another fav of mine as its a shade nobody expects to wear but end up wearing and falling in love with. This shade is opaque enough to get even coating in 2 applications. It goes on smooth and looks stunning.
Perennial Chic - This is such a pretty nude shade for the spring time. With the tan we all will get this season its the perfect monotony breaker in the world of neons & brights. It goes on smooth and is a full cream shade. The application though requires 3 full coats and is utterly smooth.
This collection is one of the best ones by essie so far with having something for everybody. I would love to get my hands on the other 2 shades from this collection too (Garden Variety & Picked Perfect). The mini pack is perfect because nailpaints are hard to be loyal to (finishes and quality on the other hand work on loyalty) there are always new 'never seen before' shades cropping up everyday, so this size is pretty practical, easy on the wallet and travel friendly.
