When i get a chance to review foundations i love it. Because i am always on the hunt for a good foundation which evens out the skin, keeps oil at bay, doesn't look cakey, has a good finish, comes in a bottle with a pump and is affordable - nothing like it! This is a new launch in UAE by REVLON. Its their Photoready Airbrush Foundation with SPF20. This screams BLOODY GOODNESS...that Blush is super too. Read on for my thoughts & experience with these new drugstore launches .
The Foundations comes with a pump so i am already a fan. This foundation comes in 6 shades which is a bummer. This foundation claims to have light-filtering technology and soft focus pigments that filter light to give skin a flawless & poreless finish. Now this is the tricky part as the foundation has 'soft focus' pigments and an SPF it does have a slight flash-back. Also the silver pigments are noticeable but one has to really look for them closely. The pigments do not look chunky atall so thats safe, they also do not hinder the application of the product. This formula is oil-free & fragrance free which is excellent. It does seem to grease up on me specially on my t-zone after about 4-5 hours so powdering for me is a must. I didn't see much of a difference where my pores were concerned but i did love the way it stayed on my face. The texture of the foundation is really creamy and smooth.
Having said that this foundation has medium to full coverage and is good for special occasions for me personally. Its a good all rounder foundation from the drugstore if you are more of a combination to oily skintype. This blends well too. This foundation sets fast so speed is of importance here. I loved the finish it gave though & this will be your best friend if you are addicted to BLENDING. I used it mostly with my RT blending brush.
Coming to the Blush i love everything about it. Right from the pigmentation to the staying power to the shade name. The color is so pretty for SS. If you are a fan of the Milani Luminoso blush and the glow that it gives then you would love this one. The shade i have is Haute Pink and seriously its such a pretty color. Its highly pigmented but not flat. Like some blushes are pigmented but do not have any glow/sheen hence the need for highlighters. Whereas some like this one are pigmented but pack-on more of that glow/sheen ( do not worry this wouldn't make you look like a grease-ball) so the result is more of a flush of color than a bang-on color on the cheeks! These types of blushes are so on trend right now specially with the obsession with the 'fresh-nude-look'.
This swatch so does not do any justice to this beauty. I have been wearing it almost everyday since i got it. There are 7 shades to choose from and they range from brights to nudes. The wear time of this blush was amazing and it went on so smooth. It did not accentuate my pores. Blended well too. These blushes are great buy for everyday use. The compact it comes in is also very handy as it does pack in a lil blush brush which is so very soft & useful. Comes with a tiny mirror too.
