SPRING NAILS ft. OPI & RIMMEL'S NEW COLLECTION!

Spring has been around for quite a while now therefore todays post is all about SPRING NAILS featuring some yummy & delicious NEW shades from OPI & RIMMEL. The Rimmel collection is in collaboration with RITA ORA and is called COLOURFEST whereas the collection from OPI is called HAWAII and is tropical-island themed. Read on for my thoughts on both the collections.
Lets start off with OPI, now u all know how much i love OPI's formula and its lasting power. This collection although on first look i wasn't that keen on (only because of the shades) but since trying these on i can definitely see the appeal. Majority of the colors are metallic with a few odd full-cream finish shades thrown in. The shade selection is amazing aswell. This collection also features OPI's ProWide brush for easy and one-swipe application. The color range is quite impressive ranging from muted pastels to bright metallic brights, something for everybody. This collection is available in both Lacquer & Gel form.
The shades i got are:

This color's Making Waves- a beautiful warm tone light metallic blue with visible golden glitter. This is my fav of the lot because when the light hits, the gold glitter specs reflect like crazy and make this blue pop even more! Good pigmentation, although i had to go in with 2 coats to get the true-to-bottle color. Wear time was also good with this lasting on me for almost 4 full days without a single chip.

My Gecko does Tricks- its an interesting lime green shade which is beyond metallic! Its reflective as hell and will suit fair-medium skintones a lot. On me personally i'm not a fan...it just looked wrong, you know. Sometimes there is just no way to make something work and this shade is that for me. But the shade on its own is a beautiful metallic shimmery lime/light green. Again had to go in with 2 coats to get the desired result.

Just Lanai-ing Around- this shade is a mid-tone burnt rose/mauve shade which has silver shimmer running through it. The shimmer is not detectable to naked eye but again when light falls on it the shimmer glistens in beauty! Its just a fantastic shade. The wear time on this was pretty good and so was the application, 1 coat was opaque enough.

Lets talk about Rimmel now & how beautiful this SS ColourFest Rita Ora collection is. This collection has 10 shades ranging from pretty pastel pinks to mint greens. I absolutely adore this collection. This collection comes with Rimmel's new 3-in-1 nail technology which has a base coat, rich color and the glossy top coat in one. I love the brushes on Rimmel 60 sec nail paints. The wear time on these is pretty commendable aswell. The nail paints lasted almost 5 whole days on me.

Rain Rain Go Away- is a really pretty mid tone beige which would look good on anybody! Its a full cream finish shade. The second i got my hands on this collection 'rain rain go away' was on my nails, this shade is just too pretty to pass up, specially in SS season when we all are getting tanned. Its wear time was good too. Just one coat was enough to get the true-to-bottle color.

Roll In the Grass- its an interesting greenish-blue shade which immediately reminded me of the ocean! Its such a calming color. It would look good on anybody in my opinion. This color is again full cream finish. Went on smooth in one application itself which is such a delight. Again only 1 coat was enough to get the true-to-the-bottle color.

What are some of your SS time fav nailpolishes? Any you guys would recommend?
