Hello lovelies today's review is one of my fav kinds- its a perfume review! Woop Woop...I am a perfume lover, a person who appreciates the nuances of every perfume/scent. Its amazing how one scent/smell has the power to uplift our moods, make us fantasise, think about our memories..just transports us to a different time & place. Somewhere i feel music has the same affect on me which is why anybody who knows me knows i live for music. Its my go-to for every situation. Anywho lets get to know this magical scent a bit more shall we.
So i had the pleasure of meeting the man behind this brand earlier this month and also experience all the wonderful scents from this brand. There is also a new launch by this brand called JARDIS which is a very beautiful floral scent. I went around the room sniffing all the scents and i narrowed in on 'DESERT ROSE'. Somehow i was amazed & curious to find out as to how a 'rose' named perfume is made without actually using a rose. So the whole idea behind this scent was to capture the 'feeling' of rose and he did it with combining two distinct floral scents with citrus & woody accents. He is known to make perfumes based on various feelings, memories & places. I found that very interesting and i am really impressed.

This is a very delicate scent which is ideal for everyday wear, day & night. Stays on for a long time but on me personally it started fading after 3 hours, leaving behind a faint wisp of a scent. Which i personally prefer. The sillage on this is strong for the first couple of hours but as the scent fades so does the sillage. There is a hint of oud in this scent which will make it appealing to both oud & non-oud wearing people. Also it starts off really floral but don't be fooled by that it does tone down and turn into a very nice medium-heady floral scent which is perfect for Dubai where scents play a vital role in our everyday activities. Middle east is known for its usage of the 'oud' scent and i can totally get the fascination. Beautiful scent in its being.

Personally i am really impressed with this perfume and would def check some more out. I already own LAYA from this brand which is the brands bestseller along with DESERT ROSE. Until my next post.
