As promised another review! Going with the AQUA MATIC Eyeshadows by MUFE today. Now these landed on my desk around 2 weeks back, i was lucky enough to attend an event by MUFE and these were in the press-kits. I loved the fact that we had a one-on-one talk with the amazing MUA's at the event and also got to see the whole new AQUA range by Makeup Forever. These are available at the MUFE counters in sephora currently, they are a must try, def go check them out. I was so impressed with the creamy makeup remover at the event, i was thinking of picking it up myself but to my delight a small travel size was included in our press kit. So lets get to know these shadows a bit better.
These shadows are waterproof & sweat proof. OMG they seriously are, the swatches shown below stayed on me for a whole day with me constantly washing my hands. The shadows are available in various finishes like metallic, satin, diamond & matte. There are 15 shades in this range. The ones i got are metallic & satin each. These are perfect for this season given that Dubai is really hot right now with temps soaring everyday. So the pencils are very handy and pack a punch with every shade. They come with a handy lil sharpener attached at the end of the pencil for getting the pointy nib for application. The pencils are very nicely packaged and very sturdy so great for travelling. The shade range is amazing, they have every shade under the sun from bights to nudes to darks. So something for everybody. The creamy makeup remover is mind blowing too and is a perfect companion for these eyeshadow sticks. You only need a lil bit for each eye and it removes the whole thing. I am def picking up a full size.
Coming to the shades at hand, now these shadows are really soft and creamy, seriously unreal! I totally support all the hype they are getting. They glide on like a dream so achieving that wing is really easy. The fact that they don't tug at the skin and just glide on, the chances of a mistake are really less. The shade ME-54 is described as a Metallic Pink Beige and is a great inner corner highlight as well as a gorgeous wash off color on ones lids without attracting too much attention yet still standing out. It a beautiful light reflecting shade, the only downside i found with these shadows is that they tend to lose their intensity after about 5 hours or so. From then on its just a color it doesn't look shimmery or bright anymore. Anyways somethings gotta give! So the other shade I-22 is described as an Iridescent Electric Blue which is an apt description of this shade. Its such a pretty shade and such an amazing eyeliner too. It goes on smooth just like the first shade and blends well, so its great for smoking out any look. This shade can be used as a base for other shadows aswell. The longitivtiy on these shadows is pretty great, on me personally they stayed the whole day without creasing but their intensity did go down after 5-6 hours.
