Hey lovelies...this review is about my HOLY GRAIL highlighter by +theBalm Cosmetics MARY-LOU MANIZER. Whats so amazing about theBALM products is that they all are multi-purpose products, ie: these face products can be used on the eyes aswell! I love this brand, if its not clear already!
theBALM MARY-LOU MANIZER is one of the best selling Highlighters out there. Its such a beautiful product, i had the Betty-Lou bronzer-highlighter with me earlier and was planning on picking this one up for so long, finally i got my hands on it. This is a honey-hued shade and looks amazing on every skintone.
This does seem to have a lot of noticeable shimmer to it but it does not translate onto the skin as chunky or gloppy atall. The blendibility on this is amazing. Its a great inner corner highlight & brow highlighter aswell. Works well in all cases.
This one by far is one of the best highlighter's i have used and i continue using it on a daily basis. The texture is so creamy and soft that it almost feels like you are applying a cream product. The finish is BEAUTIFUL and so flawless its almost eye-opening. The staying power is amazing too.
The pigmentation in all theBALM products is impressive and seriously worth the money spent. The packaging is very standard with a full mirror and high quality plastic casing. One gets a lot of product for the price that's for sure.
I do feel its a heavy price for one product but the fact that this is a multi-funtional product, so versatile & pigmented i can not argue with that. This gives such a 'lit from within' glow to your face its amazing. I usually use it with my +realtechniques blush brush and on the eyes i use the Sephora pro blending brush, with both the tools the product applies beautifully. One def has to be careful while picking up this product, because the texture is so soft and creamy a lot can be picked up easily, so go slow and then build it up.
I would totally recommend this to anybody looking to venture out into the highlighting area of makeup and are looking for a first full proof buy. THIS IS IT.
