Hey lovelies! I am suppper-duppper excited for this review. Today's review is about a Lip-Crayon (another one...buts its the BOMB.COM) by BITE BEAUTY. This is yet another product from my USA haul from last month. I posted about a part of my haul in my earlier post, which you can read here. This company is so amazing and their product even more so. BITE BEAUTY is a natural Lip Care Brand. Their Lipsticks are high performance and healthy enough to eat.
I found out another cool thing about BITE BEAUTY, they have a Lip Lab in NYC and they take appointments and walk-in's on a daily basis for anybody who wants to create a 'custom lip color'. This is just amazing. One can choose the color, finish and add-ons according to ones liking. So ladies whenever you are in NYC, you know another place to visit apart from the mother ship! :D
Anywho getting onto the product at hand, i got the High Pigment Lip Pencil in the shade 'AMARONE' ( raisin berry), its the most beautiful plummy red color ever...i was wearing it so much this fall. The finish is very velvety but at the same time very balmy and soothing. The color wears well and does not streak. Its a twist up pencil.
Its supposed to be very long wearing, on me personally it was . The best part being even though in the middle of the day after lunch and stuff if you have eaten the product off, this lip pencil leaves such a beautiful stain. Its unreal! The staining is EVEN, so it does not make you look like you just have a lipliner on and nothing else. Its just so beautiful.
I seriously have stained lips after wearing this formula, but the amazing thing is i don't bother because it 100% NATURAL!
Above is the swatch for the Lip Pencil and as you can see the pigment is outstanding and that was just one swipe FYI. When first applied it glides on and stays put, it dries down to a velvet finish and stays like that. On me it stayed for close to 6 hours or so WITH eating & drinking. The pigmentation is amazing. The texture is very creamy without seeming oily/greasy.
