SEPHORA MINERAL COMPACT FOUNDATION REVIEW+SWATCHES.

I love Sephora..they have an amazing selection of brands on their counters, but what most of us often forget or neglect is their own brand products which are pretty darn awesome! I am also one of you and i often ignore the products from SEPHORA BRAND. But thankfully on a recent trip to India i had the opportunity to try some products which i had not seen in Dubai, so i went ahead and bought this mineral foundation powder.

So this mineral powder compact is parabens free, oil free, talc free and has no fragrance whatsoever. Its very light and very easy to blend. The texture is very silky to touch. This does come with an SPF 10 but come'on thats not enough. It is said to be long wearing, on me though it lasted good 6-7 hours before i started feeling greasy on my T-Zone.
This mineral compact comes in 4-6 shades if i am correct, atleast only those many shades were available in the India Sephora.

The shade i got is MEDIUM/D30. Its a pretty good match for me. This powder does not CAKE UP, no matter how much one piles on. This one goes on well with a primer (Murad Oil Control or Benefit Porefessional) and covers up pretty well, i would say a light-medium coverage. Its a beautiful everyday powder foundation but ladies please WEAR SPF!

When applied it glides on without feeling powdery and does not dry out my skin, ( i have oily skin and super oily T-Zone). It does cover little discolouration but again one will need corrector/concealer for those pesky pigmentation marks and breakouts. On the topic of breakouts, i did not get any using this nor did i get clogged pores.

This foundation compact comes in a standard 'powder compact' packaging and does have a dual-sided sponge. It comes with a mirror too (handy). I do mostly use my sephora mineral brush with this but the sponge comes in handy for touch ups.

The lighter 'grey' side is supposed to be used for a light coverage and the darker 'black' side is supposed to be used for picking up more product and getting more coverage. The sponge is actually a good addition to this compact and actually does what is says. Its fits nicely in the lil compartment under the powder.

I really like this compact and i think its definitely value for money.  I would definitely repurchase this bby again.

The only CON for me would be the packaging, like its very sleek and appealing but its kind of bulky.

PRICE: $20-$26 approx.

What about you guys? Have you tried this foundation yet? What is your take on MINERAL foundations? Any recommendations?
