GEL MASK!! USES & REVIEW ft. PETERTHOMASROTH

So a while back i picked up some products from PETER THOMAS ROTH, known for its amazing mask. Gel mask & Clay mask are all the rage these days. I love a good mask myself. I invest in skincare as much as i do in makeup, i feel if the canvas is beautiful the layering products automatically will be. This review will talk to you all about the benefits & usage of Gel Mask from this brand. 

I picked up the mini pack as i thought its a good way to try all the iconic mask in one go. And i have to say i am pretty impressed with all. Will definitely be picking up full sizes of 2 for sure. In the pack you get the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask, Rose Stem Cell Mask & the Cucumber Mask. 

PUMPKIN ENZYME MASK: this mask is the one which is making all the noise! Its a beautiful mask if you want a product that makes an instant difference to your skin. Its a triple threat for dull congested  ageing skin. The triple action is delivered by pumpkin enzyme for exfoliation, alpha hydroxy acid for peeling & aluminium oxide for polishing. It delivers. Its best for those mid-week pick me ups when you know the only way to get the life back is a mask, that time please turn towards this one, I absolutely love this. Its a resurfacer mask which smoothes the signs of ageing over time and reveals a more evened out & smooth skin. It does have a tingling effect but does not burn. Smells a lil funky too but hey anything for beautiful skin. 

HOW I USE IT: the fact that it has fine granules in it makes it a beautiful exfoliant. I apply a thin layer and message in with circular motions with wet fingertips to remove the dead skin & to get the surface ready for the enzymes to act on. Leave it on for 5-10 mins, depending on your skins sensitivity then rinse it off with lukewarm water. I use it 2-3 times a week. Great mask for prepping the skin for further treatment.

ROSE STEM CELL MASK: i LOVE this one as much as i love my sleep. This one fits perfectly in the category of 'sleep in mask'. Get for in-flights & travelling. This one uses a new plant-biotechnology which isolates & replicates reparative rose stem cells. Its heavily extracted & based on rose stem cells for maximum anti-ageing repair. With this new technology 5 rose stem cells are blended with 4 rose extracts in a cooling 
rejuvenating gel mask to help stimulate stem cell turnover for younger looking skin. Helps with signs of ageing, fine lines, dullness,dehydration & sagging. Such a beautiful scent too.

HOW I USE IT: apply a thin layer on clean face wait for 10 mins, rinse off with cool water. This is a good in-flight mask. It can also be used as sleep-in mask for an overnight repair treatment. I use it every alternate day for intense repair & hydration. 

CUCUMBER GEL MASK: Ok so this is the one i was not that impressed with. I do like this one but a regular Aloe mask will do the same thing on my face. Its a good hydration mask, it soothes down irritation and dry patches, hydrates and helps in calming the face down after treatments. This has cucumber extracts with chamomile, pineapple, sugar maple, sugarcane, orange, lemon, aloe & bilberry. Great for reducing puffiness & calming down irritated skin after waxing, facials and other treatments. I totally agree with that claim but a normal aloe gel does the same thing. 

HOW I USE IT: apply over clean face and leave on for 10 mins, wash off with cool water. This can also be used overnight like the rose stem cell one but again this is nothing earth shattering. 

All of these mask can be refrigerated for an added cooling treatment. Go pick these up, i guarantee you will not be disappointed.
