When Kate Moss first collaborated with Rimmel around 2 years back that range was a sell-out, to this day bbloggers rave about her lipsticks. I am specially fond of the the matte ones (111 & 117). I have one from the existing Lasting Finish range too and i love the formula, everything was spot-on with her range back then and i am glad to say even now!
Rimmel recently announced five breathtaking & bright shades for the SS'15 season and i will reviewing 2 from that range today. Read on..
The ones in this post are both in the 'Coral' color family & perfect for spring summer! One is a bright coral and the other one is a light peachy-coral. Something has changed about the lipsticks, the formula is the same but they have changed the scent time round. Not that i am complaining as I prefer this one to the earlier one without a doubt. The new scent is more on the lines of candy-floss cum bubblgummy...if that makes sense.
Above are the swatches for both the lipsticks, as you can see they are nicely pigmented & smooth. Full points to rimmel for choosing such pretty shades for SS. The #34 is a beautiful light peachy-coral shade which will look amazing with a tan! ;D This one did accentuate the dryness on my lips though, was also a lil unflattering as this one has the tendency to make ones teeth look yellowish. Its a pretty color though. This is also the lightest in the range. The #37 is a beautiful bright coral shade which will look good on anybody. This one did go on smooth and looked pretty *as its supposed too*. The color is so perfect for spring, its really pigmented and the color was bang-on in one swipe.
Both the shades went on smooth and are highly pigmented. Did not drag or dry out atall. Both of them stayed on for the whole time i was wearing them, but as the formula is creamy re-application was required. Have a pleasant & springy scent. They went on pigmented and didn't feather out or bleed. The KATE MOSS range from Rimmel has one of the best lipstick formulas at the drugstore and specially for the price they are definitely worth a look. The finish of these lipsticks is semi-matte.This spring line is available in the market now.
