Its a matte foundation which was launched earlier this month and i have had this for quite sometime now. Its a matte foundation which promises a long wear-time and flawless finish. I love it. Its a very convenient, no fuss foundation. I have been wearing it a lot this month, its perfect for this Dubai heat. So lets get to know this foundation a lil better...

Got both of these in mid aug and since then i have used one of the products on a regular basis, as i love it that much and the other has been a staple too! NEW COLLECTION FROM ISADORA 'BEACH CLUB'- REVIEW!

Hello lovlies! So its time for another review and this one comes from a Swedish brand which is relatively new in UAE called IsaDora. This brand is available in a lot of stores and is on the higher end in price point, its at-par with loreal pricing if you want to compare. The products though are outstanding. Today i will be reviewing the BEACH CLUB COLLECTION from this brand which landed on my desk 1 week back, yes thats how much i enjoyed using this collection, that i am ready to dish out a review! The nailpaint though is not my style, it screams 90's and i have happily left mine behind. So without further ado lets get on with the review shall we..

NEW SALLY HANSEN GEL NAILS!

Today's review is about the NEW SALLY HANSEN 'gel' nailpaints which are becoming quite a rage. A lot of brands are coming out with their version of Gel nailpaints which basically give the illusion of gel nails without having to go through the whole process of acquiring Gel nails. These claim to last long aswell. Now here is my thing with this new phenomenon, some brands have mastered this 'gel formula' and others not so much. Sadly the SH ones fall in the latter category. Another fact to be noted is that i am a 'house person' so i am always doing something or the other around the house (which is i am always washing my hands and all) so my testing also takes those factors into account that. Anywho lets get on with the review shall we. 

NEW DRUGSTORE LIPSTICKS! FT. REVLON ULTRA HD*

Hello lovlies! So today's post is going to be about a NEW lipstick range from REVLON called ULTRA HD which claim to have a wax-free high definition gel technology which delivers high pigment and shine to the lips without the stickiness. I got 3 shades from this collection so lets get started. 

CREAM CLEANSER! FT. HUMAN+KIND WASH OFF CLEANSER

Talking about a fabulous all-in-one cleanser today! Whats good about this cleanser, how to use it & how i have incorporated this in my routine is what i am going to talk about in this post. HUMAN+KIND is an amazing brand which focuses on all things natural. I also love the tagline of this brand - 'skincare with a conscience'. There is a whole range of natural & chemical free products available in this brand the one i am going to talk about today is the wash-off cream cleanser. Lets on with it..

NEW RIMMEL SS'15 FACE & EYES PRODUCTS! *

  

So this is going to be a LONG post! I have a couple of products from RIMMEL which are new and just been launched in UAE. I have been collecting all these products for a post just like this, so you guys can get an overall view as to whats new in rimmel and how the products perform. Been testing these out for almost 3 weeks now so get a cuppa'tea and sit back. 

NEW ELECTRIC FACE CLEANSER IN THE MARKET! ft. OLAY REGENERIST *

So electric face cleansers are all the range right now (thanks to clarisonic)! The one i will be reviewing today is from drugstore and its a good alternative to the complicated & more extensive Clarisonic. Its far more gentler and the best one to use on daily basis. This one is by OLAY and its from their Regenerist range. The promo box comes with the brush and a skin perfecting cleanser. I have been using this for than a month now and gotta say i haven't gone back to Clarisonic Mia2 since. Read on for the whole review & my thoughts. 

NEW DRUGSTORE FOUNDATION & BLUSH REVIEW! ft. REVLON *

When i get a chance to review foundations i love it. Because i am always on the hunt for a good foundation which evens out the skin, keeps oil at bay, doesn't look cakey, has a good finish, comes in a bottle with a pump and is affordable - nothing like it! This is a new launch in UAE by REVLON. Its their Photoready Airbrush Foundation with SPF20. This screams BLOODY GOODNESS...that Blush is super too. Read on for my thoughts & experience with these new drugstore launches .

NEW ROUGE EDITIONS - ft. Bourjois AquaLaques.

 

I am sooo happy with this launch, i have become obsessed! These beauties are from drugstore, so affordable & pretty. Bourjois recently launched a whole NEW range of Rouge Edition called 'AQUA LAQUES', a parallel to their Rouge Edition Velvet Mattes range. As you all know by now i am a matte lip gal...can't work glosses to save ma'life, so when i got the opportunity to go and see this new 'lighter than air & feels like water' product in action i was intrigued. 

NEW SS'15 RIMMEL KATE MOSS LASTING LIPSTICKS! REVIEW & SWATCHES.*

 

When Kate Moss first collaborated with Rimmel around 2 years back that range was a sell-out, to this day bbloggers rave about her lipsticks. I am specially fond of the the matte ones (111 & 117). I have one from the existing Lasting Finish range too and i love the formula, everything was spot-on with her range back then and i am glad to say even now! 

Rimmel recently announced five breathtaking & bright shades for the SS'15 season and i will reviewing 2 from that range today. Read on.. 

NEW FACE ILLUMINATION FOUNDATION by MAXFACTOR! REVIEW & SWATCHES. *

 

Another Drugstore foundation...another review! Is it worth it??!! Let see..so this Maxfactor foundation was launched around 3 weeks back and a lot of you guys asked me to review it. This is pretty hyped because it contains light reflecting particles & a hydrator for nourishing the skin resulting in a dewy finish. In the drugstore apart from Olay i haven't seen anything quite like this one. Read on for detailed review & swatches. 

BRONZERS & DRUGSTORE! ft SOAP & GLORY SOLAR POWDER.

Bronzers are a good way to compensate for the lack of a holiday! To find the correct shade is often difficult as our skintones (knowing your undertone is of importance here) define the undertone of bronzer we go for. An ideal middle ground bronzer would be a true taupe-ish/brown shade (a color which mimics the shade and warms up the skin at the same time) but to find that in the drugstore is very very difficult. To get a more bronzed look, a bronzer with gold-brown tone is good. Having said that, all this obviously depends on your personal preference. The general rule of thumb is to choose a color which is 1-2 shades darker than your skintone. 

Myself, i like both the versions, the taupes are good for a more defined contoured+bronzed look and the gold+brown ones are good for an overall sun kissed look. Today's review is about a bronzer which is somewhere in the middle. 

SKIN REPUBLIC MASK REVIEW!*

I love a good mask! Who doesn't??! Over the past few years 'Sheet Mask' have really taken the beauty community by storm. The comfort of applying a product rich sheet on your face with all the benefits of a mask with no messy fingers is tempting. I like my mask the old school way, in a tub, taking a handful out, slathering it on my face with cucumber slices on my eyes & listening to 'girls just wanna have fun'!! :D

These sheet mask did take a lil getting used to but in the end it all comes down to our personal preferences. This post is about such masks from a company called SKIN REPUBLIC. Read on..

BEEN HAULING! DRUGSTORE EDITION

So we all have those drugstore dash in's when we DO NOT buy any makeup related product! This haul is one of 'those', ok fine i got one 'makeup' related product! :D My last trip to boots resulted in me buying all things SOAP & GLORY. I have been obsessed with this brand since my introduction. They do Bath and Body products really well aswell as some makeup products ( sadly that range is not available in UAE yet!). My friend Zinobia from the Blog SparklesinmyPalette informed me of this Boots pharmacy which stocked all these goodies from S&G i rushed that instant! Heres the lowdown.
