REVLON #FALLINGFOREYES PRODUCTS REVIEW!

So today's review is about some REVLON products and they all lean towards making our eyes look 'pretty'! The #FALLINGFOREYES collection has 3 eye liners & brightener, 1 brow product and the shadow link eye shadows! These products landed on my desk around 3 weeks back and i have come to love some and not so much the others. Some products in here are re-promotes and some are new launches here in the middle east. So without further ado lets get to swatching..

The various eye pencils from this collection are def my favourites! All of them perform really well and have been my go-to pencils for any look these past few weeks. Lets start off with the PhotoReady Sapphire pencil which is the most amazing waterproof pencil i have come across in a long time. This bugger does not want to leave! Stayed put the whole time, it def will need an oil-based makup remover product for it to go away easily & quickly. The pencil is soft and pigmented beyond words. Comes in a lot of shades and is a twist up (mine broke after my first use)! Its such an amazing product, def two-thumbs-up. This pencil comes in 8 shades, ranging from the standard neutral shades to brights. Its does not have any smell to it though. Used it to tightline & also on my waterline is worked amazingly.

The second one which is outstanding and i already have a backup off is the Colorstay Matte Charcoal Grey Kohl pencil. Its such a pretty all in one smokey-eye product, its a normal pencil with a smudger-tip at the bottom ( i dnt use that atall!) and has a nice matte feel to it, packaging wise. The product is an ultra soft pencil which is easy to draw with and does not tug at ones lids atall, so smokey or cat eye lovers will love this one. I have bought more shades from this range, there are 4 shades in total and all are brilliant. This one though has a strong scent, which does bother me a lil'bit, if you know what kohl smells like in its raw form you would know what i am talking about. Its really strong thats what bothers me, i do not mind 'kohl smelling like khol' though. The texture of the pencil is really soft and it just glides on. The fact that all the liners from this range are full matte, really is the icing on the cake! I love this liner formula a lot. And coming from drugstore, its def worth a look into. I have worn it on my waterline & as an eyeliner, it worked wonderfully.

The last but not the least is the Eyeliner Pencil and Brighlighter duo, which comes in 4 diff variants and all the shades are coordinated with the type of undertone one is going for. The pencils are again really amazing and pigmented, glide on smooth in one go and stay for a long time, not as long as the photoready one but long enough. The brightener really glides on the waterline without smudging. The texture of this pencil is again the standout point for me. The eyeliner shade is a pretty purple color and the brighter a nice off white-pink tone. The dual ended packaging makes it a great product to travel with.  This does not have any smell to it either.

Now coming to the products i wasn't too happy with. Lets start with the Brow Fantasy shaper duo shall we. So there are 4 variants of this brow product in this range and they range from light blondes to dark brunette, unfortunately i got the Brunette one which still showed up as a straight-up brown on my brows. As far as the product goes, the brow-pencil is good but too thick to mimic natural hair growth, so one really has to go slow and has to have some practice. The brow gel on the other hand is the star of this duo, works really well at keeping the hair in place and adds a touch of teint aswell. So for lazy days one can just use the gel and not bother with drawing on individual hair!

The Shadow Link Eyeshadows, i have had earlier and wasn't a fan off. I had a neutral brown shade and the peacock blue shade, they just do not translate onto the eyes well. I have tried working with them int he past in various ways, but they just did not work for me. The Seafoam shade is too light for my skintone, it comes out as a icy sheer frost blue on my lids, turns more ashy if i try to build up the color, the pigmentation is just not there for it to work. The peacock shade on the other hand is a decent blue satin finish shade which has medium pigmentation. Again both the shades require a lot of packing on and blending. I do not know why the peacock shade comes off more dark then it actually is in my swatches though. These shadows come in 18-20 diff shades and finishes.

Hope this review helped some of you in deciding what to pick up from the new revlon lineup. If you have already tried this range do let me know in the comments below, your thoughts. Until my next post!
