Hello lovelies! Today i am sharing some GUERLAIN love and my picks from one of their spring-summer collections. Guerlain came out with 3 collections to my knowledge, this one was the first one which came in the spring edit, then they launched 2 bronzer (02 /03) with colourful sleeves and the last is a limited edition guerlain summer'15 collection with one ultra luxurious bronzer (which they do every season/year), eye shadows, nailpaints, lipsticks and a compact foundation. I had picked these 2 products before going on a holiday and i have been loving them ever since. The mascara has become my fav this past month. Lets get to know this duo a bit more.
The 2 products i picked up from this collection are the Joli Teint All Over Glow Compact & the Maxi Lash So Volume Mascara. After being a fan of their bronzers for a long time i had to give this new subtle bronzer/blush duo from this brand a try. Guerlain is known to bring out the big guns every summer with their super pigmented bronzers so its quite refreshing to see them release such pretty and subtle all over glow powders. There are 4 shades in Joli Teint Terracotta powders 00/clair light-blondes, 01/clair light brunettes, 02/natural blondes & 03/natural brunettes. I picked up the darkest shade as i really like peachy/coral shades in summertime. Also i really do not think that one has to go along with their corresponding shades description, as given by the brand, it all boils down to ones preference.
Coming back to the All Over Glow duo the one in 03/Natural Brunette, it has the darker peach as a blush shade and a med-tone bronzer shade, mixed together they are perfect for achieving that summer glow because one can't really go wrong with this formula & pigmentation. It blends well and stays put the whole day without fading. This duo does not have a sheen though, they are pretty matte. This bronzer comes of as a medium yellow undertone shade which goes perfectly alongside the blush which adds a beautiful peachy hue. This product is best worn as a light 'defining' powder with a lil bit of color & glow, perfect everyday wear or lazy day companion. The compact is pretty and sturdy. Great for travelling. This bronzer may not appeal to people who are looking for a bang-on color or heavy bronzing, its more of a add-on shade/color or worn individually as a subtle all over color to bring some life.
The mascara which i have come to love is beautiful beyond words. The packaging, the formula, the wand everything screams luxury. The mascara wand is amazing and fantastic to lengthen and volumize ones lashes, you can go in with straight strokes to get length and then with side-ways strokes with a lot of teasing for volume. The mascara has a strong scent to it. The wand is hard plastic so it really grips the lashes closely. The color and pigment is outstanding. The formula is semi-dry which is something i like because it gives you more control then a dry formula. Also this did not flake atall, stayed put the whole day. Held my curls really well. It only comes in 1 shade NOIR which is a deep rich black. I am in mascara heaven whenever i use this beauty and would def recommend this to everybody. It does have a tendency to clump-up if you go in with a lot of layers, i personally do around 2 layers myself. And its perfect. Looks good on the bottom lashes aswell.
Both the products in true Guerlain fashion have a heavy scent so people who are sensitive to scents may wanna steer clear of these products. The scent does fade away though after about 5 mins or so, but me personally i love the fragrance. Its a pretty floral Gardenia kind of scent which is quite pleasing to me personally. Overall i love this collection/s from Guerlain, like every year they have outdone themselves again with some amazing products on offer, something for everybody i am sure.

Guerlain is the pioneer in bronzers, this collection is nothing less then amazing. I am definitely going back to get the Limited edition Summer Bronzer & All over glow in 02 Natural Blondes. What are some of your favourites from Guerlain this Spring-Summer? Until my next post.
