ILLAMASQUA NEW EARTH COLLECTION REVIEW+SWATCHES! *

Such an exciting launch from ILLAMASQUA this month. This is the EARTH COLLECTION and is inspired by all the elements so one can expect to see a lot of earthy tones and neutral shades. I am so excited to bring some iconic pieces from this collection to your laptop! The products i am going to review today are the NOMADIC PALETTE & one of the loose pigments in ARA. I was so stocked when this landed on my doorstep, immediately started playing with them and fell in love. So lets get on with the review.

Before the Sculpting Powder Duo i had never tried Illamasqua, just had one lipstick from them and that was also years ago. So from the Sculpting Duo my love for Illamasqua began and now with this palette its turned into a love-affair. Both the palettes are packaged beautifully and look amazing, its just a diff task to store them in my MUJI organizers!! But hey #firstworldproblems. The whole collection has this Nomadic Palette, 2 loose pigments in Ara & Draco (GOT anyone!!) ,1 glam lipstick in Kin, 1 nail lacquer in Element and 1 Slick Stick in Iron. All the shades of all the products are so enticing!

The NOMADIC Eyeshadow palette is really beautiful and has a pop of color with the burnt-orange shade. The palette has an amazing pigmentation and really transfers well with my blending brushes. The glittery shadow in here is so creamy and soft almost like its compressed loose pigment. The shades are really earthy & warm so one can def get neutral aswell as dramatic looks out of it. The shade selection is very unique, you have a grey-taupe transition shade with 2 bold shades- Khaki & Burnt Orange with a glittery medium cool shade to bring all the shades together. I would have never imagine a selection like this in a quad. Its pretty & unique thats what makes it the perfect collectors item/ holiday gift for the beauty-obsessed person in your life. The shadows do not have any scent to them. the pack on really well. I have used them dry & wet (mac fix+) both the times they have performed really well. One can def increase the intensity with a shadow primer like i did a couple of times.

The Pure Loose Pigment in ARA is so beautiful and creamy, it does not feel like a loose pigment atall, its so creamy. The pigment is amazing with my MAC FIX+ and applies beautifully. There is another pigment in this range which i am lusting after and thats the shade i have in my new order from illamasqua along with a few lipsticks and base products. The pigment once on stays put in place and does not fade atall. The shade is somewhere in the middle its not entirely cool it does have some warmth to it. Looks amazing on top of other shadows too. The Shadows from the palette wore well for the whole day without fading and looked just as intense. All the swatches above are on un-primed skin and 1 swipe only. Look how pretty the burnt-orange shade is! Its been my life this month, its such a fall shade too. Good for a smokey-eye, Burnt Orange and the Deep Khaki green shade, mix in a lil bit of black/brown and there you go. The best thing is Illamasqua.com DELIVERS to UAE for minimal shipping charges. Its so convenient now. I have already placed my order!! :D
