Hello lovelies! How are you guys doing, enjoying the New Blogpost everyday OCT? I certainly am, its so fun and really got me in touch with my inner blogger, i am and always will be one but for the this month it has really taken me everything in my power to keep up with the 'everyday' post schedule and that has really helped me look at things differently and also challenge myself everyday day. Anyways so today's product of discussion is another great find from KAT VON D Beauty. Today's star is the Tattoo Liner in Trooper which is again one of her bestsellers and rightly so. Lets get on with the review shall we..
This liner is seriously such a great find and amazing product on the whole. The idea behind it is just genius. So the whole hype around this product apart from the stunning formulation & color is the tip of the liner which instead of being felt tip is actually made up of individual fibres, making it more of a brush than a felt tip liner. Which gives a more precise and accurate line and also ore control over the application. You have to try it to believe it, seriously. The brush tip is so versatile and soft and makes for the perfect tool to draw on cat-flicks and winged liners!
So this color is Trooper and in my opinion a good jet black. Its not a Matte Black as some reviews say, its def has a sheen to it but nothing too extensive. Glides on and really stays put through the whole day. I have had this pencil for 2 months now, my earlier one lasted me for good 6 months or so with regular use. It does not flake off. The fact that the tip is a brush one really can draw on (literally like how you draw on paper, with the same ease) with this liner. I tested this liner under water, smudge test and a lot more and this guy stayed on, a lil smudging occurred but thats only because i was rubbing so hard. On my oily lids this guys stayed for the whole day so 2 thumbs up from my end. Does not have any distinctive scent to it. Its vegan, KVD made the announcement sometime earlier this year that all her products are going to be 100% vegan from now on, so yay for that!
All in all this liner is a must have from the brand and otherwise also. If you have a thing for Liquid liners and felt tip pens you will love this one because of the brush-tip. KVD has really tried to incorporate her own creativity in this line with all the dramatic packaging and innovative designs of the products. She has nailed it with this liner and her powder formulas. There is another shade in this Tattoo Liner range its called- Mad Max brown. Its a brown which looks almost black so you guys can try that too.
