NEW LUXURIOUS OUD! FT. DIPTYQUE OUD PALAO! REVIEW*

Hello Perfume & Beauty lovers of the world! Surprise Surprise i am talking about and obsessed with another perfume and its from one of my fav luxury brands DIPTYQUE! They recently launched there OUD PALAO fragrance and i have been obsessed with it. *no surprise there, rolling eyes* The event took place earlier this month and it looked spectacular! So lets get on with the review shall we.

So this piece of art is thanks to Fabrice Pellegrin & Myriam Badault and took 2 years to come up with! The bottle is beautiful and spectacular. Its a black glossy bottle which adds to its mysterious intoxicating aura. Its so beautifully packaged, would make an excellent gift fyi! This perfume unlike a lot of other 'oud' perfumes out there is a lil bit on the sweeter side which makes this a definite winner with non-oud lovers too. Its such a unique scent, i am just not saying it. My husband who is not the biggest fan of 'oud', surprisingly always compliments me whenever i wear this perfume. This is such a winner for me personally. Its starts off with a bang but settles down on a much subtle note, which is a win for me. 

NOTES

TOP: Bulgarian Rose, Agarwood (oud), Labdanum & Madagascar Vanilla.

MID: Tobacco, Sandalwood, & Rum.

BASE: Camphor, Patchouli. 

The perfume layers extremely well with my other fresh & floral scents, one doesn't need too, as its strong enough on its own but sometimes during the day i like a more floral note, so i layer it and evenings its just this intoxicating scent. Specially with my CHLOE love story perfume, that has been my go to combination this whole time. The OUD PALAO is not your run of the mill Oud scent so keep an open mind and get ready to experience a lil bit of sweetness with this perfume. The wear-time is excellent and sillage is intense & hypnotic.
