Hello Fashionistas! Today i bring to you my H&M 'Fall Haul', which to be honest was really random & spur of the moment, def not entirely 'fall' appropriate but Dubai is a HOT place so fall-attire here entails a coat/blazer and some leggings, for me atleast. Not complaining though as i love layering! It was an impulsive shopping spree. H&M does that to you, its one of those fail-safe brands for me wherein whenever i go, i always come out with a big shopping bag full of stuff i clearly do not 'need'! So enough with all the jibber-jabber lets get on with the review..
The first thing i picked up was this BEIGE mid torso button-up blouse. Something similar which i found online is here. I bought it for AED129 but can't seem to find it online to link back too. Its a comfortable everyday blouse which has some interesting tortoise-shell buttons to add that something extra. Its such a comfortable wear and looks amazing with a bulky scarf and some boots. Pair it with a high waisted skirt and you can wear it to the office too. Its really versatile. It was available only in Beige though so the choice of color is not there. The top is a high-low top and works well for office or casual wear beautifully. One can dress it up or down depending on the occasion easily. Its 100% Viscose so it has a nice weight & drape to it aswell.
I had not bought a casual jacket for a long time so when i saw this bby i immediately thought of diff ways of wearing it hence justifying the fact that i wanted to buy it and that AED129 was a 'just' spend! This Black Jacket is really versatile. I have so many blazers and jackets but most of them are from ZARA and are very formal, i was looking for a everyday jacket which was light weight and which i could throw on over a tee and jeans add some oxfords - casual chic it is! This is made out of Viscose & Polyester, so drape and fit is amazing. Its so basic yet essential, like i feel every person should own a black jacket ( along with a LBD) be it for formal or casual wear, every outfit looks amazing and chic with a jacket! I am such a lover of jackets and straight-clean cuts. Another great find and i love it.
This is one of my fav purchases apart from the accessories, with cute camels and palm trees on it and its a high-low shirt which is OMG comfortable. How was i supposed to pass it up!! Picked it up a while back so though will mention it here. It is currently on sale right now at H&M for AED 50 or something. So i you like funky prints and are a comfortable-fashion lover go grab it up! The material is so comfy and cozy and perfect for layering as its super light weight.This shirt can be worn on its own or with a nice denim skirt, shirt tucked in, add some boroughs and you are set! Seriously i am in love with this skirt. Its got some cute shell buttons too and is made of 100% cotton.
This long Shirt/Dress is so cute! One an wear it as a dress or as a long shirt and its so comfortable. Its got a long slit at the back with buttons so something extra rather than just a plain'ol printed thing. The print is pretty cute too, got cute lil Bow pattern all over. It reaches my knee so thats how long it is. I am a perfect 5 ft, for those of you wondering where my knee is at! :D I can def wear it with my jeans or a pair of black leggings during colder months. The material is 100% Viscose so again it feels really soft and drapes beautifully. It was for AED15 (thanks to the awesome sale) and i am pretty stoked about it. It will be a perfect item to layer other things with.
Obviously i had to pick up ANOTHER 'black tote bag', my justification is this- the Zara one is a bit too soft and ladylike for my everyday heavy lifting (i always feel if i show it my true colors and put a crap load of stuff inside the straps of the bag will break up with me!!) so i figured i needed a tough one while in H&M through some stoke of luck this New Collection bag was in the SALE section and was for AED60!! I snatched it up. Since then i have tried finding another bag for a friend of mine with no luck, on second thought i think it might have been a mistake or something, anyways i am not complaining, wish i could find another one for my friend though! So the non-sale retail price is AED199 but like i mentioned i got it for AED60. Its got a solid make, with plenty of room inside, 2 zips on either side with plenty of room, the zips look really on trend and chic! I am in love with the 'practicality' of this bag and otherwise too! ;D
The accessories i picked up were a Silver Multi Bangle set for AED15 (again on sale), a pair of Rings one normal and one midi for AED29 and a pair of Earring for AED29 again. The earring is something i have been wanting for a longtime now, the design is so cute and so worth it, looks expensive without burning a hole in my wallet. The rings are so cute and trendy got compliments for them already when i wore them. The bangles were impulse buys as i was wearing a nice grey-sweater and thought they went well with it so picked them up. They have another set in rose gold which to me is something which everyone is picking up thanks to the 'rose gold revolution' in the fashion & beauty industry! In all i think H&M accessories are really value for money and dnt change color and all, do not react too to my skin when wet. Am a happy bunny!
